From October 21 to 23, our school participated in the 4th University of Cebu-Konrad Adenauer Stiftung International Environmental Moot Court Competition 2024 at the University of Cebu, Banilad Campus, Cebu City, Philippines. This year’s theme was “Protection of Forests, Rights of Environment Defenders, and State Responsibility.”
Our team is comprised of Mr. Gerard Parayno (3rd year), Ms. Ysabelle Nicole Grande (1st year), Ms. Charmaine Banog (1st year), and Mr. Joe Mari Gulane (1st year), under the expert guidance of our esteemed coaches, Atty. Grizelda “Gerthie” Mayo-Anda and Atty. Florianne Aerika Relova.
The competition featured 16 teams from various universities, including San Beda University, Saint Paul University of the Philippines, the University of Bukidnon, and the University of Cebu.
While our team did not make it to the advanced rounds, they gained invaluable experience and showcased the spirit of PSU. Their hard work and dedication in this competitive arena were truly commendable.
Congratulations to our outstanding team! We look forward to more opportunities for learning and growth in future competitions, continuing to bring pride to the School of Law.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to our students, faculty, and the associate dean and dean of the School of Law for their unwavering support in this endeavor.
