Palawan State University (PalawanSU) was honored to welcome a delegation from the US Embassy – American Spaces Philippines for a courtesy visit. The visit aimed to strengthen the existing partnership between the university and the US Embassy and explore new avenues for collaboration.
PalawanSU has a longstanding relationship with American Spaces and has been a key partner in implementing various initiatives, including English language programs, cultural exchange activities, and educational technology projects. The visit provided an opportunity to review the progress of these initiatives and discuss future plans.

The delegation, composed of Ms. Marcy Carrel, American Spaces Regional Public Engagement Specialist, Ms. Janice Freytag, Grants Manager, and Ms. Jennifer Anne Pascua, American Spaces Program Coordinator, was warmly welcomed by Dr. Ramon M. Docto, University President, with Mr. Christian Robert Nalica, Director of American Corner Puerto Princesa City. During the visit, the delegation had the opportunity to tour the university’s facilities, including its classrooms and library. They also met with some faculty members and students to discuss the university’s academic programs and research activities.

The courtesy visit was a significant milestone in the relationship between PalawanSU and the US Embassy – American Spaces Philippines. It is anticipated that this visit will further strengthen the bond between the two institutions and pave the way for future collaborations that will benefit both PalawanSU students and the broader community.
