PalawanSUpdates || On June 27, 2024, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) acknowledges the invaluable contributions of its stakeholders and partners in propelling the Philippines towards a more digitally inclusive nation. These collaborations play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of various DICT projects, ultimately contributing to national development.
The event was held in Solano Hotel, General Luna Street, Lipa City, Batangas in recognition of the National Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Month, which takes place annually in the month of June, with the theme, “Pagkilala, Pagpupugay at Pasasalamat tungo sa Bayang Digital para sa Bagong Pilipinas”.
In the said event, Palawan State University (PalawanSU) has been recognized as one of the valued stakeholders and partners that has consistently demonstrated its support for DICT’s endeavors. Ms. Ailene S. Bobier, Chairperson of the Computer Studies Department, received the award in the absence of the University President, Dr. Ramon M. Docto.
