Palawan State University headed by Dr. Ramon M. Docto, University President, joined a meeting with Dr. Bruce A. Veldhuisen, the CEO of Oregon Institute of International Education (OIIE), and President of Paris University of International Education (PUIE) earlier today, September 05, at the Office of the University President Conference Room.
Alongside with the University President are the other key officials and deans of different colleges and clusters that consist of the following:
- Mr. Jose Felomino T. Fernandez III – Director, Socio-Cultural Affairs Office and Representative for the Vice President for Student Affairs and Services
- Dr. Judy Ann V. Sarail – Director, Transnational Education, International Affairs and Linkages Office
- Dr. Manila N. Lucero – Dean, PSU Oriental Cluster
- Dr. Hanlie A. Taha – Dean, PSU Del Sur Cluster
- Dr. Gabilyn G. Orilla, Dean, PSU Occidental Cluster
- Dr. Evelyn B. Tomas – Dean, College of Business and Accountancy
- Prof. Arben B. Cadigal – Dean, College of Hospitality and Tourism Management
- Prof. Judith M. Pasion – Focal Person, Transnational Education
- Ms. Charity Cabrestante – Assistant University Accountant
Through the initiative of the Transnational Education, International Affairs and Linkages Office (TNEIALO) headed by Dr. Sarail, the said meeting aimed to discuss the university internationalization that includes the partnership and linkage with OIIE and PUIE, the fut ure collaborative projects, programs, and activities between the two parties, as well as the admission of Foreign Students in the university.
These are all done for quality education, providing equal opportunities for relevant, innovative, and advanced studies for lifelong learning and sustainable development of every PSUan.
