April 24, 2023 – The Palawan State University, in partnership with the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) – Palawan Provincial Office, conducted an Orientation and Registration activity for Key Administrative Officials and Members of the Procurement Office of the University, last April 24, 2023 at the University’s ICT Hub Conference Room. Representatives from the DICT facilitated the seminar: Ms. Joelybev Ordiz and Engr. Jeanette Ripalda. 

The activity aims to provide an understanding of the Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) Digital Certificate and its uses and advantages. It also capacitated participants in obtaining their respective digital signatures from DICT. 

The University’s adoption of PNPKI will significantly strengthen the University’s capability to facilitate government transactions, including procurement, with the aid of technology.
