The Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA), the government agency tasked with promoting and coordinating volunteer programs nationwide, is seeking to collaborate with Palawan State University on a new initiative. PNVSCA reached out to the university to discuss the potential for a partnership that would integrate volunteerism into the university’s programs and activities. The agency has proposed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) as a framework for this collaboration.

Mr. Donald James D. Gawe, CESO III, from the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), visited Palawan State University on October 1, 2024. The meeting with the University Officials focused on discussing the details of the proposed partnership with PNVSCA and developing a plan for moving forward.

PNVSCA aims to create a sustainable and impactful volunteer program that aligns with the university’s mission and benefits both the community and the volunteers involved.
