Palawan State University (PalawanSU) proudly recognized its outstanding Math and Science Quiz Bowl teams for their remarkable performance at the Philippine Consortium for Science, Mathematics, and Technology (PCSMT) 2025 Quiz Bowl held at the University of Northern Philippines in Vigan, Ilocos Sur from April 2-4, 2025.
Out of fierce competition from other state universities (more or less 25 competing teams), PalawanSU teams secured impressive rankings in all categories, to wit:
Biology: 4th Place
students: Rainier Jake Lañohan, Rubie Rose Flores;
Coach: Prof. Imelda Pacaldo
Mathematics: 7th Place
students: Prince Arcel Luay, Mark Kevin Autor;
Coach: Engr. Pinky Dela Cruz
Chemistry: 5th Place
students: Jun Michael Tana, Chris Deo Singidas;
Coach: Dr. Rhea Gracellano
Physics: 5th Place
students: Joseph Brandon Abuan, John Dustin Santiago;
Coach: Engr. Melchor Jaramilla
