Palawan State University (PalawanSU) officially established a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the U.S.-based nonprofit organization, Ramsey Research Foundation (RRF) on October 14, 2026, via Zoom, by virtue of Board Resolution No. 103, Series of 2026.
Signed by PalawanSU President Dr. Venzon L. Limpiada, and RRF Executive Director Dr. Samuel Ramsey, the partnership focuses on advancing glocal research-blending global scientific expertise with local ecological knowledge-to promote the conservation of pollinator biodiversity and ecosystem health in Palawan.
This joint initiative supports academic exchanges, collaborative research, joint publications, and student capacity-building while directly advancing President Limpiada’s IGNITE Agenda and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education), 15 (Life on Land), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
