Palawan State University continues to strengthen its standing in teacher education after producing 459 newly Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs) in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) – Secondary Level.

Leading the University’s achievement are two graduates from the PalawanSU Main Campus in Puerto Princesa City who both secured the Top 9 spot with a 93.4% rating in the national examination: Daniel Edison Bantolinao Gollaba and Emmanuel Sarcia Redon.

Their performance reflects the quality of instruction and academic preparation provided by the PalawanSU College of Teacher Education, a recognized Center of Excellence in teacher education.

The PalawanSU Main Campus produced 202 new LPTs, recording an 86.67% passing rate among first-time takers and a 74.26% overall passing rate.

Across the University’s external campuses, the following number of passers were recorded:

San Rafael Campus – 2 passers
Araceli Campus – 1 passer
Balabac Campus – 2 passers
Brooke’s Point Campus – 66 passers
Coron Campus – 22 passers
Cuyo Campus – 84 passers
Narra Campus – 4 passers
Quezon Campus – 41 passers
Roxas Campus – 28 passers
San Vicente Campus – 1 passer
Taytay Campus – 3 passers

This achievement underscores the dedication of the graduates and the continued efforts of the Palawan State University community in advancing quality teacher education across the province.
