Palawan State University once again proved its excellence in teacher education after producing 378 newly Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs) in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) – Elementary Level including two topnotchers.

Bringing pride and honor to the University and the province of Palawan are Leah Olarte Godoy of PalawanSU Narra Campus, who secured the Top 5 spot with a rating of 93.80%, and Javie Guzman Alcanzado of the PalawanSU Main Campus in Puerto Princesa City, who placed Top 8 with a rating of 93.20%.

Further cementing its reputation as a premier institution for teacher education, PalawanSU Main Campus was officially recognized as a Top 3 Performing School in the category of universities with 50 to 99 examinees, maintaining a passing percentage of at least 90%.

The Main Campus also achieved a remarkable 100% passing rate among first-time takers and a 98.46% overall passing rate, significantly surpassing the national passing rate of 56.03% for the Elementary Level examination.

San Rafael Campus – 29 passers
Bataraza Campus – 11 passers
Brooke’s Point Campus – 68 passers
Coron Campus – 35 passers
Cuyo Campus – 30 passers
Narra Campus – 28 passers
Quezon Campus – 37 passers
Roxas Campus – 52 passers
Sofronio Española Campus – 21 passers
Main Campus – 64 passers
