Palawan State University President, Dr. Ramon M. Docto delivered the welcome remarks at the 12th Southern Tagalog Islands Research and Development Consortium (STIRDC) Annual Research and Development Conference and Pitching Competition held at Mindoro State University, Calapan Campus.
Dr. Docto, who also serves as the Chairman of STIRDC, expressed his gratitude to all participants and stakeholders for their continued support and dedication to research and development in the region. He highlighted the importance of collaboration and innovation in addressing the challenges and opportunities facing the Southern Tagalog Islands.
The STIRDC, under the leadership of Dr. Ramon M. Docto and Vice Chair Dr. Ma. Josefina P. Abilay, Regional Director, DOST MIMAROPA, has been instrumental in promoting research and development initiatives and fostering partnerships among academic institutions, government agencies, and the private sector in the region.
