Beekeeping experts from DMMMSU NARTDI share their knowledge with PalawanSU in a short visit on June 18, 2024.
The DMMMSU NARTDI visiting team was composed of Mr. Joseph A. Panas, Executive Director, Mr. David T. De Castro, Division Chief for Innovation and Technology Commercialization, and Ms. Precious Angela P. Alcantara, Research Staff. They were warmly welcomed by the university officials headed by Dr. Ramon M. Docto, University President, Dr. Marjorie A. Espanola, Vice-President for Research, Development and Extension, and Dr. Venzon L. Limpiada, Vice-President for Finance and Administration.
NARTDI stands for the National Apiculture Research, Training and Development Institute. This government institution is all about bees and the benefits they bring, and their main office is located at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) in La Union.
