Dr. Limpiada also commended the successful September 4 campus elections and the subsequent oath-taking of newly elected student leaders, noting that the University Federation Council will convene in early October to select the next student representative to the Board of Regents. Legazpi, which strengthened internationalization and research partnerships across MIMAROPA. In light of World Suicide Prevention Month, Dr. Limpiada delivered a heartfelt message prioritizing student wellness, reminding the community that seeking help is a sign of courage and that campus support systems remain readily available. He also reported that gate security adjustments implemented on September 8 successfully eliminated initial morning gate congestion, while instructing college deans and department chairs to strictly enforce the campus dress code policy for student safety.
In administrative and institutional news, Dr. Limpiada shared key outcomes from the 259th Board of Regents meeting held at the CHED Central Office, including the official reappointment of Private Sector Regent Ms. Marvi B. Trudeau and the approval of various institutional agreements and scholarships. Additionally, he announced that PalawanSU was chosen as the state university representative to the Regional Development Council MIMAROPA Social Development Committee during its third-quarter meeting.
