Palawan State University held its Closing and Awarding Ceremony in celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) on October 1, 2026, at the PalawanSU Landmark.
The activity brought together faculty and staff from various offices and departments to celebrate the spirit of public service while promoting teamwork, camaraderie, wellness, and employee engagement.
The program opened with the opening remarks of Mr. Francisco III O. Baluyut, Chairperson of the 126th PCSA Committee and Supervising Administrative Officer, followed by a message from University President Dr. Venzon L. Limpiada.
In his address marking the end of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, Pres. Limpiada commended the university community for actively embodying the core values of Puso, Dangal, at Galing. While candidly acknowledging pressing operational challenges—such as heavy workloads, tight budgets, and payment delays for Contract of Service and Job Order personnel—Pres. Limpiada expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering dedication to serving students and the nation, concluding with a call to uphold integrity, fiscal responsibility, and public service excellence every day.
