Today, June 25, 2024, PalawanSU Observes Pride 2024: “Reflect, Empower, Unite” with the Launch of an All-Gender Restrooms held at the Ground Floor of the Library Building, PalawanSU Main Campus.
The concept of “Reflect, Empower, Unite” encourages the community to reflect on the strides made towards LGBTQ+ equality, while acknowledging the ongoing fight for acceptance. The introduction and launch of an all-gender restrooms provide a dignified and inclusive option for people who may not identify with the traditional binary (male or female) restrooms.
This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to dismantling gender barriers and ensuring the comfort and safety of all university officials, administrators, faculty and staff, and students, regardless of gender identity or expression.
