Palawan State University proudly congratulates Western Philippines University (WPU) and Palawan State University (PSU) for their outstanding performance in the 2026 Scopus Documents Ranking of MIMAROPA SUCs.

In the latest update, WPU secured 1st place overall with 266 publications, while PSU achieved 2nd place with 142 publications. This recognition affirms the growing strength of Palawan’s academic institutions in advancing research productivity and contributing to global scholarship.

We at PSU are honored that two SUCs from Palawan topped the list, showcasing the dedication of our faculty, researchers, and students in pushing the boundaries of knowledge.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Western Philippines University for the continuous publication of the Palawan Scientist Journal, which has also served as a vital platform for many PSU researchers to share their work with the wider academic community.
