The Palawan State University recently achieved recognition at the 13th MIMAROPA Health Research and Development Consortium (MHRDC) Health Research Forum, which took place from October 28-30, 2024, in Romblon, Philippines.

Prof. Lea M. Camangeg, from the BPS Department of the College of Sciences, secured 3rd Place in the Oral Paper Presentation within the Professional Category for her research titled “Palawan Herbal Extracts for Bioactivity and Toxicity Assay.”

This annual forum serves as an important platform for health research professionals to share their findings, exchange ideas, and promote collaborations in the MIMAROPA region.
