Palawan State University warmly welcomed Mr. Marius Lacomme from France’s Institut de Bordeaux in Puerto Princesa City on May 30, 2026, who will undertake a five-month internship at the Marine Sciences Research Center (MSRC). Mr. Lacomme’s internship was facilitated by the Transnational Education, International Affairs and Linkages Office (TNEIALO), headed by Dr. Lhynette Zambales, and the MSRC under Dr. Floredel Galon.

Mr. Lacomme attended the University’s flag ceremony on June 1, 2026 where he was formally introduced to the PalawanSU community. He also paid a courtesy visit to the OIC-President, Prof. Marissa S. Pontillas, providing an opportunity to discuss the University’s commitment to internationalization, academic collaboration, and global engagement.

During his stay, Mr. Lacomme will engage in various research activities and collaborative initiatives under the guidance of MSRC researchers, contributing to the advancement of marine science studies while gaining valuable international research. The University looks forward to a productive collaboration and wishes Mr. Lacomme a meaningful and enriching experience throughout his stay in Palawan.
