Palawan State University’s Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) (Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Office (IPTTO) has been honored with the 2024 Silver Cluster Award at the 2025 ITSO Presidents’ Summit and General Assembly, held on April 10, 2025, at the Sequoia Hotel, Manila.

The award acknowledges PalawanSU’s outstanding contributions as one of the 2024 ITSO Clustering awardees. This year’s summit, themed “ITSO Presidents’ Summit 2025: Empowering ITSOs towards Global Recognition of Innovation Breakthroughs,” celebrates the network’s collective achievements, with a particular focus on its increasing international recognition.

The awarding ceremony was attended by key Palawan State University figures: University President Dr. Ramon M. Docto, Vice President for RDE Dr. Marjorie A. Española, IPTTO Director Mr. Hermenegildo P. Dela Peña, and Dean of the CTE Dr. Mary G. Alvior.

This recognition highlights PalawanSU’s commitment to fostering innovation and intellectual property development, contributing to the growing prominence of Philippine innovation on the global stage.
