Palawan State University (PalawanSU) faculty members Prof. Abrila M. Langbao and Prof. Lea M. Camangeg represented the institution as sponsored travel grantees at the imaging Southeast Asia (iSEA) Conference 2026, held on September 21–23 at the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in Bandung, Indonesia.
During the three-day international gathering of over 200 scholars and scientific leaders, the PalawanSU College of Sciences delegates achieved major milestones for the university. Prof. Langbao and her co-authors secured 3rd Place in the poster presentation category for their study, “Ant and Termite Diversity in Selected Sites of Palawan, Philippines: A Microscopic Perspective.” Meanwhile, Prof. Camangeg successfully established strategic international research partnerships through the presentation of PalawanSU’s proposed Palawan Bioimaging and Pangolin Research Center.
