Palawan State University (PalawanSU) proudly celebrates the outstanding performance of its alumni in the March 2024 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence.
PalawanSU ranked top 7 nationwide in LET Elementary Level with an impressive passing rate of 94.52%, significantly exceeding the national average of 44.67%. Among the top achievers are Atty. Jus Lauros Romero and Ms. Jezreel Gabasa Tuan secured an impressive ranking, placing 6th and 10th in the licensure examinations, respectively.
The PalawanSU campuses across the province achieved varying results. Here’s the breakdown of their performance:
Elementary Level:
- Palawan State University – P. Princesa or the Main Campus has an impressive performance with a 100% passing rate for first-time takers and a 33.33% passing rate for repeaters, with an overall performance of 94.52%.
- PSU Narra: 89.47% passing rate for first-time takers; a 12.50% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall passing rate of 76.09%.
- PSU Quezon: 71.70% passing rate for first-time takers; 5.88% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall passing rate of 55.71%.
- PSU Roxas: 88.00% passing rate for first-time takers; 27.78% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall passing rate of 62.79%.
- PSU Sofronio Española: 88.89% passing rate for first-time takers, with an overall performance of 80.00%.
- PSU San Rafael: 100% passing rate for first-time takers; 50.00% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall passing rate of 82.35%.
- PSU Bataraza: 81.48% passing rate for first-time takers, with an overall performance of 78.57%.
- PSU Brooke’s Point: 87.10% passing rate for first-time takers; 13.04% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall passing rate of 67.06%.
- PSU Coron: 91.43% passing rate for first-time takers; 22.22% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall passing rate of 77.27%.
- PSU Cuyo: 88.00% passing rate for first-time takers; 16.67% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall passing rate of 64.86%.
Secondary Level:
- Palawan State University – P. Princesa or the Main Campus again performed well with an 80.77% passing rate for first-time takers and a 24.55% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall performance of 58.78%.
- PSU San Rafael: 50.00% passing rate for first-time takers, with an overall performance of 33.33%.
- PSU Araceli: 20.00% passing rate for repeaters with the same percentage of its overall performance.
- PSU Balabac: 25.00% passing rate for first-time takers; 22.22% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall passing rate of 24.00%.
- PSU Bataraza: 50.00% passing rate for first-time takers; 100% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall passing rate of 55.56%.
- PSU Brooke’s Point: 85.88% passing rate for first-time takers; 17.65% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall passing rate of 60.29%,
- PSU Coron: 96.15% passing rate for first-time takers; 27.27% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall passing rate of 75.68%.
- PSU Cuyo: 72.46% passing rate for first-time takers; 29.58% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall passing rate of 50.71%.
- PSU El Nido: 100% passing rate for first-time takers with the same percentage of its overall performance.
- PSU Narra: 40.00% passing rate for first-time takers; 30.77% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall passing rate of 34.78%.
- PSU Quezon: 67.39% passing rate for first-time takers; 22.22% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall passing rate of 50.68%.
- PSU Roxas: 84.21% passing rate for first-time takers; 20.00% passing rate for repeaters, resulting in an overall passing rate of 44.90%.
- PSU Taytay: 25.00% passing rate for first-time takers, having an 11.11% overall performance.
