May 5, 2023 – Palawan State University officials headed by Dr. Ramon M. Docto, University President, had a meeting with the officials of the Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT) last May 5, 2023, at the University President’s Office.

Alongside the university president were Dr. Judy Ann Sarail, Director – University Transnational Education Office, and Prof. Arben Cadigal – Dean, College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM).

Meanwhile, the DOT delegation was headed by Hon. Ferdinand Jumapao – DOT Undersecretary, Dr. Zenny Pallugna – DOT MIMAROPA Regional Director and Mr. Oliver Garcia – Tourism Officer, DOT MIMAROPA.

Both parties discussed the existing projects and possible partnership of the university and DOT, including the FBSE or the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence and the technical assistance the university offer to the tourism community.
