April 24, 2023 – The Palawan State University actively joined in the SUCTREND: Anti-Hazing: Phillippine Higher Education Institutions (PHEI’s) Perspectives, Challenges, and Opportunities today, April 24, 2023, at the University Instructional Media Center (IMC) and American Corner (AC) Hall via Zoom. The event aimed to increase everyone’s awareness of hazing, as well as the legal consequences of such acts among higher educational institutions.

Justice James Cundangan from the Office of the Solicitor General was the resource speaker for this event. The Chairman of the University’s Board of Regents and CHED Commissioner, Dr. Jo Mark M. Libre, provided perspective in this important seminar through his opening remarks.

The participation of the students in this webinar is part of the values formation thrusts of the university.
