On August 7, 2026, the Board of Directors of the National Association of SUC Secretaries Inc. (NASUCS), led by President Ms. Mona J. Purganan of the Technological University of the Philippines, paid a courtesy visit to Palawan State University (PalawanSU) President Dr. Venzon L. Limpiada at the Puerto Princesa City Main Campus.
The visit served as an offshoot of the NASUCS Conference co-hosted by PalawanSU in Palawan back in October 2024. Beyond expressing NASUCS’ gratitude to PalawanSU for providing a venue for their strategic planning workshop, the meeting opened discussions on strengthening board governance, streamlining compliance, and fostering partnerships among State Universities and Colleges.
For PalawanSU, it marked the start of deeper collaboration, including an open-government program to share policies and BOR resolutions, serving as benchmarks for new initiatives. This cooperation also aims to support glocal partnerships, joint projects, and income-generation opportunities benefiting partner universities and their stakeholders.
