November 8, 2022 – Following their visit to PSU San Rafael Campus, representatives from the Latter-day Saint Charities, the humanitarian arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, have visited Palawan State University – Main Campus.

Elder Lenard Huff and Sister Bonnie Huff, Humanitarian Missionaries from LDS Charities, have rendered a courtesy call to the University President, Dr. Ramon M. Docto.

Also in attendance in this courtesy visit are:

Dr. Elucila M. SespeƱe – Vice-President for Academic Affairs;

Dr. Grace N. Abrina – Director, Office of Student Affairs and Services; and

Prof. Arben Cadigal – Director, International Affairs and Linkages Office.

Mr. Larry N. Caduada, Faculty of the College of Sciences, accompanied the representatives from LDS Charities.

The purpose of this visit was to explore future opportunities for service and collaboration, among others. Insights coming the group’s visit to PSU San Rafael was also discussed.

According to their website, the purpose of LDS Charities is to: “relieve suffering, foster self-reliance and provide opportunities for service.”
