Congratulations to the talented PSU students who made their mark at the prestigious 11th Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) National Culture and the Arts Festival, held April 23-25, 2024, at Philippine Normal University in Manila! This year’s theme, BIDLISIW: Paghilom, Pagbangon, at Pagsulong, provided a powerful backdrop for the competition.

PSU shone brightly with impressive achievements:

• Vocal Duet: The team of Jamil J. Garados (BSED English, Year 3) and Mc Hillmerson D. Trinidad (BPEd, Year 2) secured a well-deserved 3rd place finish out of 16 participating regions.
• Pop Solo: Analiza G. Gineza (BSED Filipino, Year 2) showcased her vocal talent, reaching the top 8 finalists among 15 competing regions.

These accomplishments reflect the dedication of both the students and their coaches, Prof. Lucia A. Fresnillo, Prof. Benedict Jr. C. Villacorte (vocal duet), and Prof. Jose Felomino Fernandez (pop solo). We are proud to see PSU contribute to Region IV’s impressive overall 1st runner-up position!

Greetings from Dr. Ramon M. Docto and the PSU Community!
