Palawan State University Laboratory Junior High School participated in the 2nd International Vedic Mathematics Olympiad (IVMO) on Saturday, November 26, 2022. Eight Grade 7 students from PSU LJHS competed in the Junior Category (13 years old and under). While our very own faculty member Ms. Maricar D. Dasmariñas served as center coordinator for the said competition. Aside from instilling the benefits and pushing for the advancement of Vedic Math, the competition also aimed to encourage students to join local, national, and even international competitions like IVMO.
IVMO is an event spearheaded and hosted by the London-based Institute for the Advancement of Vedic Mathematics (IAVM). This year’s IVMO was participated in by 2000+ students from 12 different countries, through both in-person and online modalities.

There were also college students from Palawan State University and Western Philippines University who participated in the Open Age category.
