Puerto Princesa City, Palawan — Sixteen distinguished scientists from Palawan State University (PalawanSU) have been recognized in the prestigious AD Scientific Index 2025, a global ranking system that evaluates the scientific productivity and impact of individual researchers.

Their inclusion in the index significantly contributed to PalawanSU’s outstanding achievement of ranking 32nd among 10,825 higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Philippines.
The AD Scientific Index, developed by Alper-Doger, assesses researchers based on key performance metrics such as h-index, i10-index, and citation scores. It also evaluates institutions by aggregating the scholarly impact of their affiliated scientists.

This recognition highlights the growing research excellence within PalawanSU and underscores the University’s commitment to producing high-impact scientific work on both national and international levels.
