Palawan State University (PalawanSU) President, Dr. Ramon M. Docto, accompanied by Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Maila N. Lucero, and GAD Director, Prof. Mary Jane E. Taladtad, attended a welcome reception hosted by the Puerto Princesa-Palawan Higher Education Institutions (PPPAHEI) for newly appointed CHED MIMAROPA Regional Director, Prof. Edna Imelda F. Legazpi. The reception, held at Hotel Fleuris in Puerto Princesa City this evening, also included a Gender and Development (GAD) session.
The event provided an opportunity for higher education institutions in the province to welcome RD Legazpi and foster stronger collaborations with CHED. The theme of the conference was ‘Advancing Higher Education and Empowering Communities Through Knowledge and Learning”.
