The team from the Palawan State University Laboratory Senior High School bagged two first-place awards for the “Designing Urban Forms” and “Tiktok Challenge” during the recently conducted 2nd Joint Environmental Planning Day with the theme “Sense of Place Development: Ensuring Culturally Progressive Towns Towards Equitable, Inclusive, and Sustainable Housing Solutions” on November 14, 2024, at the VJR Hall, Capitol Complex, this city.

The competition was participated in by teams from the Holy Trinity University, Palawan National School, Fullbright College, Seminario de San Jose, and Santa Monica National High School. Each participant presented their concept for creating a plan and design for the urban form of a location or city. This included naming the area, developing a vision statement, and creating an urban land use plan.

The activity was spearheaded by the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners – Palawan Chapter and sponsored by the Provincial Government of Palawan.
