In celebration of Teachers’ Day, the Palawan State University Faculty Union, led by President Dr. Janet B. Oab and its officers, organized a generous donation of rice benefiting 440 regular and temporary faculty members across the main and external campuses. This initiative was made possible through the support of the Office of Hon. House Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, the Caretaker for Palawan’s 1st and 3rd Congressional Districts.
Additionally, the PalawanSU campuses in Cuyo and Coron received cash donations for regular and temporary faculty members. The Cuyo campus, through the leadership of Prof. Leo Arthur C. Abrea, President of the PSU-PCAT Faculty Club, and his officers, also organized a medical mission to provide healthcare services to faculty members. Other contributors, such as Mister Donut and PalawanSU OIGP, were instrumental in ensuring the success of this event.
This initiative highlights the significance of supporting educators and fostering a strong sense of community among faculty members.
