During the flag ceremony held on October 7, 2024 led by the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), Palawan State University (PalawanSU) celebrated the achievements of its dedicated employees and unveiled four new additions to its fleet of vehicles.
The event began with a flag-raising ceremony, a symbol of the university’s commitment to its mission and values. Following this, a blessing was conducted for the newly acquired vehicles, officiated by Pastor Agapito Tuting, seeking divine guidance and protection for their safe and efficient use.
The highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of exemplary employees. Those who achieved perfect attendance and were never late for work during the month of August, 2024 were honored for their dedication and punctuality. Their commitment to their roles has significantly contributed to the university’s success.Additionally, the Office of Human Resource Management (OHRMD) presented the “Going the Extra Mile” award to employees who consistently exceeded expectations in their duties. This recognition acknowledges their outstanding contributions and serves as an inspiration to their colleagues.
Dr. Ramon M. Docto, University President, in his short message, expressed his gratitude to the recognized employees for their hard work and dedication. He emphasized the importance of recognizing and rewarding exceptional performance, as it fosters a positive and motivated work environment. Dr. Venzon L. Limpiada, Vice President for Finance and Administration, provided valuable insights into the acquisition of the new vehicles. She shared the background of the procurement process, highlighting the careful planning and consideration that went into selecting these vehicles. Dr. Limpiada also expressed her sincere gratitude to the team involved in the acquisition, acknowledging their hard work and dedication in ensuring a successful outcome.
