Spearheaded by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Inc., Palawan State University official and faculty from various units actively joined the Workshop on Outcomes – Based Quality Assurance and Online Accreditation Orientation at Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) on August 2-4.
The workshop is attended by Dr. Anabell A. Gacayan, Deputy Director, University Quality Assurance Center (UQAC). Alongside with her are Dr. Lhynette T. Zambales, Associate Dean, College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), Prof. Anna Vanessa Soliven, Chairperson, Department of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) – Marketing Management, BS Entrepreneurship, and Public Administration, Prof. Gene D. Tabi, FSDP Coordinator, PSU-PCAT Campus, and Prof. Mary Ann Q. Sim, QA Coordinator, PSU-PCAT Campus.
The objectives of the activity include the presentation of the accreditation survey instruments and its uses, Explanation of the out-comes based survey instruments and the Program Performance Profile through online platform, Identification of the necessary documents relevant to the program, area, and parameter, Description of the rating system based on the online accreditation method, and suggestion of new indicators that might help in the improvement/revision of the instruments.
