Palawan State University (PalawanSU) and Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (KAHE) in Tamil Nadu, India, have formally established a collaborative partnership through a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), by virtue of a Board of Regents (BOR) resolution. This agreement sets a framework to foster academic cooperation, advance research, and enhance international learning opportunities between the two higher education institutions.

Under this partnership, both universities will facilitate faculty exchanges for teaching and research alongside comprehensive student mobility initiatives. These student programs cover undergraduate and graduate upskilling, credit transfers, dual or joint degree programs, and non-degree exchange pathways. Furthermore, the collaboration encourages joint lectures, seminars, shared publications, and mutual projects aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while enabling access to key learning materials, libraries, and research facilities across both campuses.

The initiative is coordinated by Dr. K. Tharageswari for KAHE, and Dr. Lhynette T. Zambales for PalawanSU. The official commitment is spearheaded by KAHE Registrar Dr. B. V. Pradeep and PalawanSU University President Dr. Venzon L. Limpiada, marking a shared commitment to transparency, academic excellence, and global innovation.
