The Palawan State University community joins the nation in commemorating National Heroes Day this August 31, honoring the Filipinos whose courage, sacrifice, and service helped shape our nation.

National Heroes Day is observed every year on the last Monday of August. It is a day to remember the men and women who contributed to our country’s freedom and development.

Being a hero does not always mean doing something extraordinary. It can begin with simple acts of studying with purpose, helping a classmate, respecting others, being honest in our work, caring for our community, and using our knowledge to help others.

Because every day, we have the opportunity to make a difference in our own way.
