On July 10, 2026, the Board of Directors of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) – Palawan Chapter paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Venzon L. Limpiada, the newly installed President of Palawan State University (PalawanSU). The meeting focused on exploring potential collaborations and institutional partnerships aimed at strengthening humanitarian activities, community engagement, and providing training assistance for both the university and the wider community.
The PRC-Palawan delegation was led by Chapter Chairperson Maria Nancy Socrates, alongside Board Members Roberto Del Rosario, Silvany Delight Gastanes, Eric John Yayen, Marjorie Gabinete, Carina Llagas, Philip Bustamante, Ferdinand Bermejo, and Ana May Baluyut. Joining the board were Agnes Melinda T. Beronio, OIC Chapter Administrator, and Ian Christeeve Balingit, Chapter Service Representative.
