With the theme “One Goal, One Purpose: Serving the Community, Empowering the Nation, and Embracing Differences,” the Palawan State University Community celebrated NSTP Day through a series of activities held on March 1-2, 2026.
NSTP Director Antonino V. Moragriega, who spearheaded the event, warmly welcomed and enjoined students to participate in the activities. The first day’s competitive events showcased the diverse talents of the student body, with the COE-COD students securing the Yell Competition championship and the CNHS team emerging victorious in the “COS-FO Politician” Cosplay category, a unique display of satire and social awareness. Students also engaged in a battle of wits through a Debate Championship, where teams CBA and CHTM claimed the top title.
The celebration reached its finale on Day 2 at the University Gymnasium with the highly anticipated Mr. and Ms. NSTP Royalties 2026.
Transitioning from field fatigues to formal attire, the candidates embodied the core mission of beauty, character, and service. Ultimately, Mr. COE-CAD and Ms. CBA were crowned the new King and Queen, followed by the pairs from CS/CNHS and CHTM/CS as first and second runners-up, respectively. Congratulations to all the participants and winners!
