CNHS brings Palawan Cancer Support Group to PSU

This October, the PSU through the College of Nursing and Health Sciences is celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month by hosting a cancer forum presided by one of the up and coming independent groups in Palawan today: the Palawan Cancer Support Group.


PSU Lab High Holds first ever Environment Awareness Camp

The PSU Laboratory High School has just initiated its first ever, but hopefully not its last, Environment Awareness Camp.

Ms. Edith B. Estrella was the designated Camp Director of this 3-day activity participated in by almost all PSU Laboratory High School students, aimed to promote environmental awareness among them and at the same time this is viewed as a good opportunity to shed light on some environmental issues.


PSU Extension Receives DBP Award

The PSU Extension Office has furthered its reputation as one of the most dynamic units in the Palawan State University as it has just recently been recognized in the Development Bank of the Philippines’ Forest Program.

The DBP website shares that this is “a corporate social responsibility project that aims to protect and restore green cover in critical forest sites through the planting of high value fruit trees”.


PSU College of Nursing and Health Sciences holds forum on HIV

In its own way of espousing one of the most pressing world issues that has prevailed in the last few decades, the PSU CNHS has just hosted a forum on HIV.

“This is our way of reaching out to the PSU community, by being an active force in spreading awareness of HIV among the members of the PSU, especially the youth,” said Dean Sonia Ygloria of the CNHS.

The Palawan State University has found reason to celebrate anew. The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACUP) Inc. has just released the Board Action of a number of PSU academic programs that were recently assessed in the period of July 27 to August 1, 2015.

Congressman Roman Romulo, highly touted as one of the most promising Filipino politicians today was the honored guest in PSU Intramurals 2015. While the PSU Intrams has always been a blockbuster success year in and year out, this intramurals was made extra special, thanks to some good news disclosed by the good Congressman.


PSU Research Office Holds Writeshop

The PSU Research Office has just concluded a Writeshop aimed to engender the creation of more research outputs from within the university. This time, the hope is for this to have a wider reach and coverage.
