The Palawan State University has found reason to celebrate anew. The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACUP) Inc. has just released the Board Action of a number of PSU academic programs that were recently assessed in the period of July 27 to August 1, 2015.
Congressman Roman Romulo, highly touted as one of the most promising Filipino politicians today was the honored guest in PSU Intramurals 2015. While the PSU Intrams has always been a blockbuster success year in and year out, this intramurals was made extra special, thanks to some good news disclosed by the good Congressman.
The PSU Research Office has just concluded a Writeshop aimed to engender the creation of more research outputs from within the university. This time, the hope is for this to have a wider reach and coverage.
In his opening remarks, no less than President Jeter S. Sespeñe made clear his expectation of the research practices he wants to see from the Palawan State University.
Headed by Philippine National Red Cross Palawan Chapter officer-in-charge Mr. Victor De Leon, the PNRC team came to the Performing Arts Center to address the community members of the PSU in light of IHL Month.
“The PSU has always been in active collaboration with the Red Cross throughout the years. I would like to thank Pres. Jeter Sespeñe and the Palawan State University for giving us this chance to impart knowledge to the PSU community,” said Mr. De Leon.
Experts from the University of the Philippines Los Baños have come back to the PSU, this time to impart their expertise to a number of researchers from the Palawan State University. This is the highly awaited training entitled Phil-LiDAR 2 UPLB Project Orientation and Training on Field Data Collection.
