The Palawan State University took part as the The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) GEF-Small Grants Programme OP5 conducted a simultaneous Training of Trainers (ToT) on Ecosystem Valuation, Community-Based Biodiversity Monitoring and Evaluation Systems, and Biodiversity-Friendly Enterprises. Representing the University was Engr. Maria Rosario Aynon Gonzales, Director of the Center for Strategic Policy and Governance (CSPG).
In continuing to equip its faculty in their mission of providing quality education to students of the University, the Palawan State University conducted a four-day Faculty Conference with the theme “Responding to the Demands and Challenges of the Educational Reforms”. The activity was held at the A&A Plaza Hotel on June 14-17, 2016.
The Palawan State University along with the Provincial Government of Palawan and the Department of Health Region IV-B took part in a collaborative workshop regarding the proposed medical school for Palawan. The three-day event was held at the Asturias Hotel on June 2-3, 2016.
