In the middle of the AFSUAP Christmas party held at the Dampa Restaurant along Mitra Road, Palawan State University President Jeter S. Sespeñe presided over a celebrated turnover ceremony involving key personalities in PSU.
Mrs. Lilia Isabel Nato started started off the simple ceremony with the symbolic passing of the key of the Supply Office to Mr Gregorio Rodriguez. Mr Rodriguez then relinquished his vacant position in the Motorpool to Mr Ruben Roxas. To the delight of a playful crowd mainly composed of PSU staff, they joked amongst themselves about passing on everything including the headaches that come with the job.
Faithful to the spirit of professional development among the ranks of the Palawan State University Staff, President Sespeñe bared, “We are very lucky to have these people in our community. We need to find the right people to take on huge responsibilities. Because key positions are naturally demanding, we need people who can deliver results despite all the unpredictable challenges, headaches included. This is the direction that we wish to take when we think of capacity building.”
This recent development and other such developments that are expected to come in the near future are indications of a strong and professionally stable PSU in the coming years.
