The Palawan State University once again proved that it has what it takes to produce competitive and competent graduates as a new batch of PSU alumni passed the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) CPA Licensure examinations held on October 2014.
According to a report from the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), Twenty-three graduates from the College of Business and Accountancy passed the exams with a passing rate of 30.53 percent. In particular, Mr. Gerald Mart Gatinga placed sixth nation-wide, with a score of 89.75 percent. The other passers are Mae Jane Aguirre, Michael Kevin Atilano, Ivy Thea Borgonos, Joelah Mae Cabahug, Audrey Cuya, Ma. Nimfa Dizon, Jesunjan Gerunggay, Gilcy LLovely Grande, Audrey Kilat, Edison Lapuz, Michael Joseph Melo, Rhuciba Nasil, Mark Noquera, Hedro Ian Jay Pacete, Zeia Palasigue, Charessa Marie Taliman, Dayanara Tejares, Mark Gil Tito, Rae Jane Ventura, Erika Vergara, Carvie Joy Zabanal, and Ivy Zumaraga.
University President Dr. Jeter Sespeñe expressed his satisfaction with the examination results, and commented that he was confident that more PSU graduates would continue to perform well in the future.
