Over two thousand students from the Palawan State University finally graduated as PSU held its 2016 Graduation Ceremonies, with esteemed journalist Howie Severino as the guest speaker.
Dr. Lorna Gelito addresses the graduates and their families
The Puerto Princesa City Coliseum was filled with the aspiring graduates and their families, who attended from near and far to witness their loved ones finally receive their diplomas.
The deans of the different colleges were likewise enthusiastic as they presented the candidates for graduation.
Dr. Lorna Gelito, PSU Vice-President for Academic Affairs, joyously congratulated the graduates for finally completing their respective courses, adding that she hoped that they achieved the desired skills of their chosen trade and profession.
In his message, Mr. Severino made sure to remind the graduates that their generation is looked upon by older generations with great anticipation as to what they could achieve in their lifetimes, and how their decisions will greatly impact the world around them.
It is with great pride that the University continues to provide its students and alumni with knowledge and skills needed to enable them to develop their careers, pursuant to its mission and vision.
