It is indeed true that hard work pays off especially for a number of student leaders, and what better way to repay all those efforts than by giving them the recognition, the credit for their service and the continuation of what they have already invested.
CEAT College Student Council (CSC) and Organization Officers together with Ms. Jennie Lyn Gaddi the new designated Student Org and CSC Adviser organized a 4 hour turnover ceremony and Accomplishment Reporting held last April 5, 2016 at the Petroleum Engineering Drafting Room.
“The event helps the incoming leader to know the past and new officers and have the opportunity to discuss about future plans for the college and to acknowledge their efforts,” says Mr. John Wilkin Lim, 2016 CEAT CSC Governor.
Originally, the plan was to conduct the turn over ceremony during the Graduation Ball. But due to conflict of schedules and late preparation the graduation ball wasn’t pushed through but to celebrate the efforts done by each organization and to welcome the new officers, the members made the turn over ceremony possible.
Each past officer were given certificates of recognition signed by the College Dean Engr. Melchor E. Jaramilla, followed by the turnover of the organization seal and reporting of accomplishments and future plans. Each org was given 15 minutes to show their presentations.
“This activity should be done yearly, para magkaroon ng proper at good way to start and isang member with acknowledgement and appreciation, to push and inspire the members to do good in their term,” says Mr. Lim.
