This is a study of the attitude and preferences of the students and faculty of five colleges in the university on the use of Filipino as medium of instruction in college, specifically in the following subjects: Social Science (History, Rizal, Anthropology, Sociology, Economics) Physical Education, Home Economics and Health Education. Cluster sampling was used involving 1, 090 students and 102 faculty members.

A glossary of 1, 000 words in Filipino with meaning in English, Cuyunon, Agutaynon, Cagayanon, tagbanua, Batak, Molbog, Palawan ,and Calamian.

3.Ang Kontribusyon ng mga Katutubong Wika sa Palawan sa Paglinang ng Filipino. ()

Palawan, with its eight indigenous languages, has a wealth to contribute in the development and expansion of Filipino especially in the area of vocabulary. The similarities and differences of the vernacular compared to Filipino through its true and false cognates are discussed. Examples aof words that may be assimilated to the national language are given, so with the recommendations on how these may be achieved.

Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm (IPPF) is known in the country as the only prison camp that allows the inmates to roam around its reservation. This paper dealt with how a visit at IPPF created an impact to the perception of the tourists about the colony.
