It is graduation time once again at the Palawan State University. On Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, the PSU community came as one in witnessing the 43rd Commencement Exercises which was held at the A & A Plaza Hotel.
A total of 313 students coming from the PSU Main Campus and the College of Community Resources Development (CCRD) North and South Campuses were duly recognized as the newest products of the Palawan State University, with their degrees conferred by none other than PSU President Dr. Jeter S. Sespeñe.
The special guest speaker for the event was Atty. Perry L. Pe, who holds the most esteemed capacity of Royal Danish Consul General, and the Dean of the Palawan State University School of Law. Atty. Pe’s message spoke of encouragement and triumph in the professional field.
Meanwhile, President Sespeñe’s Graduation message was centered on the call to action among the youth. According to the President, the country needs the younger generation now more than ever. He also added that with this current batch of graduates effectively forming part of the newest generation of young professionals, the invitation is for them to be actively involved in creating solutions for the problems faced by Filipinos today by sustaining the culture of personal excellence that has been imparted to them by the Palawan State University.
